I was at the outlets near Universal and we were sitting on a bench. A rather large woman sat right next to me. We stood up and walked about 6 shops down when I realized I didn’t have my camera. I turned and walked quickly back towards the bench, the lady stood up and there was my camera. Her top had covered it. Just in time I got it back. I find I’m used to carrying a certain amount of things so when I carry more I have a good chance of forgetting something.

Hey Karen 🤗 I am going at the end of Aug and I am really nervous about dealing with the heat. I have got an umbrella and my fan but it still makes me nervous about coping in the heat 🥵🙈 I defo agree, it’s not worth powering through because you do start to feel awful. I’ve only tried those cheeseburger pods once and I wasn’t a fan, the meat inside wasn’t a nice consistency for me. I’ve heard the bowls they do are nice but not tried them yet. I’m looking forward to your next vlog 🩷 xxx

Wow! What a day. 👏🏻👏🏻 We always stack genie+ and have about 5 rides lined up for the afternoon. Gutted that we can’t do this with the new system. I can’t believe you didn’t book something at 1 o’clock though! We’d always book it and then keep amending it and pushing it back throughout the day. That way as soon as 3 o’clock comes around, we can book the next one.

I tried the cheeseburger pods for the first time last year and they were just ok. I agree it needs a special sauce lol . I have to leave AK by midday because it’s just soo HOT!

Love Mitsukoski! The shop in the back of China is super fun too, they’ve added a lot more snacks & drinks over the years. I find on hot days in Epcot I have to walk through every pavilion so I’m bouncing into AC non stop. Also idk if you’ve ever tried it but Liquid IV is a life saver in the heat for me, I find it really helps keep my hydration up. It’s loaded with electrolytes. My Dr. actually suggested it to me & it was a game changer for park days! Also it sounds crazy but if you’re like hot-hot pop into one of the newer bathrooms! The AC has been blasting in them. I like to take a break at Nemo, the aquarium is usually quite cool as well. 😊 I have dysautonomia so I’ve gotta be extra careful in the heat because I’ll hit the ground hahah

Disney needs to begin to think more about cooling the people in the parks. With the changes in the weather - how hot can it get? - more shad and more air conditioning needs to be planned and added to the all the parks

Lovely vlog, and what a good lesson to learn about not pushing yourself in the heat. Surprised not to see those cooling mist machines dotted around the parks, at least in summer. Japan 🇯🇵 would be an interesting trip, and you should ask Luke & Rich if they would join you. I love using chopsticks 🥢.💕🌟

I do love the safari rides and any animal sections, so I think Animal Kingdom would be my favourite area. Also “Living on the land”, anything to do with nature and different cultures (Hippos are my favourite too).🦛🐾☘️🍂

Seeing you speed walk at the opening of your vlog, reminds me of when you did the Disney New Year Marathon run.

Another UA-camr channel stated two of the big rooms people went into to get a break from the heat at EPCOT were now hot. Another taking away from their customers. Also 2 of the new small shows are out in the heat as well as no place to sit except on hot grass or concrete. EPCOT was my favorite Disney park. I saw it coming when it took forever to bring back the trams. I so miss the old Disney, people aren’t going anymore. They also said they use the money from the USA parks to build the Asian parks. Beijing opened 2 years ago, watched Ordinary Adventures videos (really good). I really want to go to the Japan parks and stay in the Disney hotels cuz you’re guaranteed entry and they are half the price or less then here in USA. I will still watch your videos wherever you vlog, I really enjoy them all.

Can’t say I like the Dinosaur ride at all, not much theming and too dark. The first 3 times I rode it I had cataracts so it was just 3 things to see on it, after surgery it was better but no comparison to Indiana Jones. I have only heard rumors it will be changing to Indiana Jones and if it does the lines will definitely be longer. So nice to see more videos from you (even like the ones from England and Ireland).

Hi Karen and Rachel I love Florida yes it can get hot but when the rain comes every afternoon it is so refreshing ! I love how tropical it is but it does get very hot you have to drink lots of water 💦 Animal kingdom was one of my favourites as well as Hollywood studios and Magic Kingdom Epcot wasn’t my cup of tea but this was many years ago when there was only 2 rides at that park…Have a great week ❤

I don't know if you ever found out, but the green mochi is melon flavored. I think mango and lychee is a top tier combo of flavors (like at boba, I often get mango with lychee jelly or vice versa).

How did you get the Guardians VQ if your park reservation was for Animal Kingdom that day? 😮 Also, I’ve never been able to choose later return times for genie + times when picking my rides. It’s always whatever the current callback time is and I can then maybe modify it if it changes but I can’t see an option to pick like a 4PM return time if the current return time is showing 1PM. Am I doing something wrong? 😅

Good morning! I love early mornings in the parks, but there is something about Animal Kingdom that just hits different! Such a beautiful park! A great place for breakfast in Epcot is Les Halles, the ham and cheese croissant warmed up, cup of coffee, heading into the little tables that are in front of the France pavilion… amazing!! it’s so peaceful because everybody’s trying to get on Remi, world showcase isn’t open yet and it’s just beautiful on a sunny morning!

Thank you gor all your detail. I think it's worth mentioning that once you buy, you can sell later, recouping some of the cost per poing at the end. Im considering buying at Boardwalk because there are only 18 years left, and comparing that to buying at Poly & selling after 18 years (im 60, so 18 years seems like all the use I'd need). Its not our of the realm of possibilities that i could sell the contract at the same $250/point I purchased at, given that Disney's price per point will likely be well over that amount.

Brilliantly done! This is the best comparison video I have seen. THANK YOU for all the time you put into it and, more importantly, for "dumbing it down" so I could understand! I bought my first DVC contract in March 2019. I have since purchased a few more via DVC Resale Market. I use Monera Financial to buy it initially, and then, once the contract is in hand, I try to pay it off. They have never penalized me for doing that, so it's a great way to snatch up a really great low-ball contract and then figure out how to pay for it later :) We own at Beach Club and Aulani. We sold our Grand Californian and are now buying Old Key West. Each contract is 100 pts. I love DVC, and my only regret is not buying sooner.

Hi Karen you mentioned that you just added Natasha to your room. My son is joining us for a few days at pop century in September and I would like to add him to our room did you just go to reception. Was there a charge.

I didn't mind the sofa bed, but the chair bed is very comfortable. A friend of mine prefers it! LOL
